Even though summer isn’t quite all up ons yet, my brain has already begun to plan all of the things I want to do this year.
- Attend two concerts (I already have one scheduled. Still looking for another awesome one.) Apparently Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick are touring together this summer (OMG), and they have a stop in Cleveland (OMMFG)! I’ve seen Cheap Trick previously in Clearfield, but I wouldn’t mind seeing them again, especially with such awesome bands as Heart and Journey. I am going to try my damnedest to make it to this. Does anyone know of any other awesome shows? I really wish MGMT, whom I have been crushing on hard as of late, had more shows scheduled.
- Visit Nick again. I had so much fun last time that I cannot wait to get back down there. Hopefully I’ll be able to coerce Hoover to come along this time.
- Attend a county fair and get a space unicorn vanity plate with the word “Badass” on it. I have seen this design (a unicorn in space with a rainbow in the background) at multiple fairs so I’m hoping I’ll be able to find it again this year. This is like my #1 To Do (MUST Do) for Summer 2008, even though it is appearing at #3 on my list (Nick: did you know that unordered lists don’t format very nicely? I didn’t until just now. Will investigate soon).
- Go canoeing again. Did this once late last summer and had a really good time. I completely suck at steering, although I did enjoy spinning us in circles just for the heck of it.
- Go camping for a weekend. I mean real, serious camping. With like a tent and some food and a sleeping bag and nothing else. I have a closet full of boy scout camping equipment at home that I’m dying to put to use again.
What is on your MUST DO list for this summer?
My supervisor was sitting behind me, watching me type this up (during my lunch break). I turned around and just looked at him for a couple of seconds before turning back around and continuing to type. I love my jorb.
