Maybe it’s my inherent love of marketing or maybe it’s the giant pimple that has taken up residence on my left ear lobe (yes, it hurts), but I would like to see ARoB take a new direction. Personally, blogging has always been a great outlet for frustration and good stories during my college years, but now that I’m gainfully employed, few events occur outside of work, and work is off limits. I’m also out of Mormon stories and homemade Harry Potter cards.
Most of this site’s visitors are people that know and love us, but I think we can add to this fan base. To do this, ARoB would have a focused approach. We would blog on a specific topic or area all while keeping our personal touches. I’m thinking along the lines of these websites:
Go Nintendo
Neatorama
Josh Reads I wish I had thought of this one first.
Post Secret
Overheard in Pittsburgh
I like the idea of having a focused topic because I rattle my brain for hours thinking of a post that would be both interesting and safe. We could also enforce a one post per day policy to keep readers coming back regularly.
To my fellow blog posters: What do you think of this idea?
To the dear readers: What does boredom mean to you? What topic(s) or area(s) do you envision ARoB covering?
Or are things hunky dory the way they are?

I’m actually in favor of this idea.
With the redesign, I think ARoB could use a re-focus. It seems like posts are fewer and farther between. Perhaps this is because we’ve lost a direction or clear purpose? Certainly we are all busier than we ever were before, but I think a lot of it is that the thrill is gone.
I know my favorite postings were centered around events (4B06 and Music Week.) Maybe we could do similar week(s) of given topics, themes or similar? Maybe they could rotate or we could do one or two in a given period of time?

Dude! Hoover sent me that article last night. That is such a compelling duo of pictures! I especially like how in the second image, it looks like the creature is resting on one knee and using it’s knuckles to “stand” like a chimp. ODD!
is there a website that displays all of the pictures?
