A pretty uneventful week since the concert! Sunday Nick and I took a trip to Blossom Music Center to see Blondie and The New Cars perform. It was a pretty awesome time! The only thing that kinda bummed me out is that sometime during the trip a rock hit my hood and chipped the paint and put two tiny dents in it. Oh well! I’m hoping to put some touch up paint on it sometime soon and then fugeddaboudit.

Last night I watched Seven Samurai [RT|IMDB|MC]. I really liked it except for two things. First, the movie was really long (3hours and 28minutes). The DVD even had it’s own intermission (which I had to fast forward through–inconvenience!). Second, the movie had a lot of Japanese men crying, which made me uncomfortable for some reason. Maybe I’m just used to seeing dudes in tough situations hardening their hearts and swallowing their tears. ANYWAYS, it made me feel awkward and it got annoying because there was a dude blubbering every five minutes. In a three hour movie, that is a lot of blubbering!
