There was absolutely nothing good on TV last night! First, I was planning on watching My Name is Earl and The Office, but they weren’t on because of the Olympics. Then I was like “okay, well I’ll just watch The O.C. instead.” However, Fox likes to randomly take the show off the air for weeks at a time and they were showing a movie instead.

Some good came of it, though. I got to finish Trainspotting (RT|IMDB), which I’d started a week before, and also I was able to watch Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (RT|IMDB). I thought Trainspotting was good, but nothing great. Maybe if I’d been a heroin user in the 90s I’d feel differently about it, I don’t really know. It was just “meh.”

I absolutely loved Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, though. It had a very relaxed feel to it, and I thought that Val Kilmer’s character, Gay Perry, was excellent. I know, weird, right? Anyways, if you’re looking for a good flick I heartily recommend it.
