And what a weekend it was. Definitely had its ups and downs. Last night I went bowling with my cousin, my brother, his girlfriend, and a bunch of people whom I’d never met. It served well to remind me that I am socially awkward with strangers. I guess I did pretty well, though. I am always amazed at how easily I can bother someone to the point of being angry with me. Sometimes I can do it without even doing anything (as was the case last night)!

Since I pretty much slept my afternoon away, I’m going to have to get down to business tonight. I need to fill out 401K forms and wrap some dang ol’ presents. Luckily, gift cards are easy to wrap! Most of them come with their own envelope. Sweet!

Right now I am listening to In Case We Die by Architecture In Helsinki. I am doing this because it was someone’s #1 album of the year. I’m not sure what to think of it. It started off sounding like The Fiery Furnaces or something, but this current track (”Wishbone”) is totally reminding me of other stuff. I guess I’ll have to wait and hear.

Update: The album was pretty good, but I felt it was lacking order or coherence (this is the definition of “disjointed”). I do not think it would even be in my top ten for this year, if I actually was capable of making such a list.
