Last night I carved pumpkins with Sonya, Britt, and my brother Jake. It was definitely a good time. I tried to do a pirate, but it is only recognizable by the eyepatch—if you can even tell that’s what it is. Sorry that the photo is blurry. Britt’s digital camera was having hell of troubles with the darkness.

We also baked up some delicious seeds. We made half with a conventional recipe, and I tried to make a cinnamon-flavored recipe for the other half. However, I didn’t follow the cooking directions (or couldn’t, due to preparation) so they don’t really taste like a whole lot of anything.
